Dead Man’s Flat, where our rentals are located, is a small hamlet just outside of the town center of Canmore and the perfect destination for your mountain retreat. The entrance to Banff National Park and Kananaskis is a quick drive away, along with the ski slopes at Lake Louise and Sunshine Village. All year-round our area is ripe with stunning views and plenty of outdoor activities.

Need a chance to disconnect and spend quality time with your loved ones? Whether you’re traveling with your family or a group of friends, our Rocky Mountain homes offer the perfect escape. The best of Canada’s nature is right outside your door, making it even easier to turn this trip into your best vacation yet. Although you’ll be tempted to spend all day out exploring our surroundings, when you head back, our homes offer fantastic amenities to wind down. Both properties offer a relaxing hot tub and gym access. Relaxing in the Rockies #1 also has an outdoor area with a fire pit and Relaxing in the Rockies #2 has an outdoor area with a BBQ and access to an outdoor pool.

Whether you’re staying with us for a few nights or a few weeks, our Canmore condos and rental properties are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy a kitchen that you can actually use, with pots, pans, salt, pepper, and coffee provided. The bedrooms have high-quality linens to ensure you get a good night’s sleep and the bathrooms come stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. From check-in to check-out, you won’t have to worry about the basics, only enjoying your mountain getaway.

I had a great stay, the room had all the basics you need. Most importantly Cathy was a very nice host and responded to messages promptly. Even in the midnight. The view from the balcony was stunning.

Cathy’s place was clean and comfortable for our 2 night stay. Her instructions to access the condo were extremely clear and she provided really nice recommendations for tourists. I would stay again!

We stayed at Cathy’s place for a weekend trip to Banff. Nice location, very tidy place, and responsive host! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the rentals pet-friendly?

One of the rentals, Copperstone Resort, is pet-friendly. Our brand new property, in Sparrow Hawk Resort, is not. Although we love pets, we’ve decided to keep one house pet-friendly and the other not to best accommodate all visitors.

How’s the wifi?

We’re closer to wilderness than to people, so while we do offer wifi, it’s not incredibly reliable. While we offer Smart TVs in all bedrooms, we don’t recommend that you use this as a workcation but instead as a chance to disconnect.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in: 4pm

Check-out: 11am

What’s the cancellation policy?

One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

What’s included in the nightly price?

With the price of your stay, you get a fully-equipped home with plenty of amenities. Within the homes themselves, you have a kitchen ready to be cooked in. Our kitchen offers basic appliances, pots, pans, and salt, pepper, and coffee. The bathrooms come stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dyers, and towels. Our homes also have a washer/dryer, ideal for longer stays.

Within Copperstone Resort you’ll have access to a shared hot tub. There’s also a shared pool table, gym, bbq, and outdoor areas. The master bedroom at Copperstone resort has a tv.

Within Sparrow Hawk you’ll have access to a shared pool, hot tub and gym. You’ll also have you own bbq on your deck. The is a tv in both bedrooms at Sparrow Hawk. The master bedroom has an on-suite bathroom with as shower.
