Testimonials Relaxing in the Rockies
Not only did the property have excellent access to Canmore and Banff, it was both clean and comfy.
Cameron C. (VRBO/HomeAway, Stayed: January 2019)*****
The property made it so easy for our group to travel around the Canmore and Banff area. It was nice to have a quick trip to Sunshine early in the morning (really early if you want parking spot) so that we could easily enjoy a day if skiing. The condo had a nice kitchen set up and plenty of space for a group of 4. There are also some nice walking trails rough out the balcony so you don't have to do more than a step of the porch to begin exploring the Canadian Rockies.
Very clean and homey like

The condo is very clean and homey. It meets all expectations, and our four legged friends enjoyed their stay. The Copperstone Stone resort is easy to find and located in a picturesque location. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to others.
Very clean, great location, well equipped kitchen
Claire S. (VRBO/HomeAway, Stayed: August 2018)*****
We loved the location, very close to Canmore yet away from all the action, the place was extremely clean, very nice linen, kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary pots and utensils. overall a very nice place to stay.
Calm away from the storm
Karen T. (VRBO/HomeAway, Stayed: July 2018)*****
Dead Man's Flats is far outside the hustle and bustle of Canmore and Banff. Still within a 20 minute drive to either, this unit is a well-needed respite from the crowds and craziness of the touristy areas. The unit is clean and well kept. The owner/manager is friendly and responds quickly. The main bed was comfortable and the bunk beds are perfect for families with young children. The kitchen has all the basic essentials and the washer/dryer came in quite handy. This unit is on the far edge of the complex so it is perhaps a bit quieter than some of the other units we have stayed at in this building. The parking garage is secured and finding a space was never a hassle. Thanks for a great stay!
Recharge in the Rockies!

The 3 things that set this condo apart from others in the area are: 1)Being away from it all. The thing I love most about this place is the tranquility. The property and location really encourage relaxation. The resort is designed well and comfortably nestled into the Bow Valley. There are lush and luxurious robes provided and they pair well with the spa-inspired outdoor hot tub. I find it’s a lot quieter here than other places I’ve stayed in the region. Even when it’s full, it doesn’t seem crowded or too busy. The short drive into Canmore is very fast and easy. It allows one to appreciate more of the mountain vistas along the way. And Banff is only a 15 mins drive beyond that so you really do have the best of it all while staying in Dead Man’s Flats. We enjoyed walking our dog down to the Bow River from our condo each day. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to explore the Rockies. It’s great to get out there but even better to come home to a quiet nest away from all the craziness at the end of each day! We will definitely be back to this place. 2) The accessibility. To the resort, the condo, and the owner. This resort has easy access off hwy 1 and is within close proximity to some breathe taking scenic drives in the area. . The ground floor door to the patio was perfect for taking our dog to do his business and was nice to exit for our daily walk to the river. It also proved valuable when we brought a large picture back and were able to back our vehicle almost right up to the door to unload into our room. Cathy was very accommodating. This owner is very easy to reach whether you message her on the app or call her directly. The condo is well appointed and included everything we needed to make it our home away from home. 3) It is welcoming, easy to clean, and effortless to settle into. This space was very inviting and easy to settle into with our family. It has the warm and comfy feeling of a modern cabin with a nice marriage of luxury and alpine rusticness. The overall feeling was clean and new. It had absolutely everything we needed to move in and make it home with our family. I would highly recommend this place!
